With Halloween just around the corner, DU took on a themed mantra for Homecoming week 2012: A Haunted Homecoming.
Do not let this spooky title misguide you - Homecoming Week was full of tradition, excitement, and Pioneer spirit! After kicking off the week with two great soccer games, the festivities continued with class competitions, a Homecoming Court talent show, a FRIGHTfest full of pumpkin carving and caramel apple making, a Taste of DU, the Homecoming Parade and two solid DU Hockey victories against Michigan Tech. Additionally, the annual Alumni Symposium was held parallel to the Homecoming activities, so many Pioneers were also able to engage intellectually in the Pioneer spirit.
The week was a fun way for Pios to celebrate being a part of the DU family. I could write much more than you’d really have time to read about the Homecoming festivities but instead, I’ll let some pictures do the talking.
