I wanted to quickly remind you that the May 1st deposit deadline is quickly approaching. I hope the University of Denver stays on the top of your school of choice list. As you go through the process, I would check out my previous posts on various topics to help you make your final choice. They include:
What to do at DU? – What will fill your time as a student here at DU.
Halls vs J-Mac – a discussion on which residence hall is better.
Is DU Prestigious enough? – a discussion of what you should look at when looking at a college.
Making Money on Campus – talks about job opportunities on campus to make some extra cash.
Remember to deposit, you need a $200 housing deposit, as well as signing your housing contract. At that point you get to specify where you would like to live. $300 will go towards a tuition deposit. Therefore, the total amount is $500. You can send it in with your deposit card. Remember, even if you don't attend DU be sure to return the deposit card with your intentions.
Finally, I encourage you to continue to consider all of your options. Over the past few weeks we have had a few visit programs to DU including Fridays @ DU and Pioneer Days. Below are a few pictures.
Counselors Nashwa and Wahhab help a student deposit to DU at Pioneer Days.
Counselors Stephanie, Andy, and Emily after the Departmental Fair.
Visit Coordinator Angela and me (Troy) checking students in for Friday @ DU.
Lalu, one of the Admission Fellows check's people in to our Friday @ DU program.
Don't forget, you too can visit DU in one of our many programs. Just click here to get more information.
If you have any questions about DU that I can answer for you, e-mail me at thashimo@du.edu and I will answer your questions for you and you may even be featured on our blog to help other students as well who may have the same questions, so ask away!
